INGREDIENTS :
Khoya (mashed) - 1 cup
Peas - 1 cup
Onions (grind to a paste) - 2 , big
Tomatoes (grind to a paste) - 2 , big
Ginger- Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Green chillies (chopped) - 2
Cumin - 1 tsp
Garam masala pdr - ½ tsp
Fresh coriander (chopped) 1 tbsp
Mustard/refined oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water - 2 cups
METHOD :
· In a pan heat oil and add cumin. When it starts to crackle add onion paste. Sauté a little, add ginger-garlic paste. Sauté till it turns light brown.
· Now add tomatoes paste and fry till oil separates.
· Add green chillies and khoya and fry for a minute.
· Now add green peas, salt and garam masala pdr. Mix thoroughly and sauté for 2 minutes.
· Add 2 cups of water and let it simmer till the peas are cooked. You can increase or decrease the amount of water as per your requirement.
· Garnish with coriander and serve.
